LD Funding on Getwell Road: how much of a new balance reaches you?

If you are discussing refinancing or additional money, separate the proposed new balance from the cash that would actually reach you. Settling an old account is not the same as receiving that money again.

Old account

Dated payoff and recipient

New agreement

Principal and full payment schedule

Charges or deductions

Whether financed, withheld or separately payable

Choose the next step

You are a new customer

Ask the operator to identify its legal name, current products and document process. A dated registry entry does not quote a loan for you.

You already owe a balance

Obtain a payoff valid for the planned transaction date. Use it in the new-cash calculation instead of an approximate old statement balance.

A new payment appears lower

Compare how many payments remain and the full total. A smaller payment can extend the obligation rather than make it less expensive.

Keep LD Funding’s contact evidence in proportion

The public mapping entry gives 8089 Getwell Rd and (662) 393-4200. The dated DBCF list corroborates LD Funding, Inc. at that address. [B22] [M02]

The evidence does not establish current branch-specific rates, all available products or an online application portal. Confirm the business identity and visit time before disclosing private information. The weekday hours are a published secondary schedule; the absence of a weekend entry does not mean weekends are confirmed closed.

Ask for a four-part refinancing breakdown

A useful proposal separates the earlier obligation from the additional benefit. Do not treat the whole new principal as spending money.

Component What to request
Old account Dated payoff and recipient
New agreement Principal and full payment schedule
Charges or deductions Whether financed, withheld or separately payable
Additional cash Exact amount delivered to you

This is a preparation checklist, not a statement that LD Funding offers a particular refinancing product. Confirm the current service first. A Mississippi small-loan listing is not evidence of every other credit category. [M01]

Do not label refinanced principal as a fee

Illustrative ledger, not an LD Funding offer. Suppose the new principal is $800, $550 settles an old account and a hypothetical $25 is withheld from the remaining amount.

New-balance breakdown Amount
New principal $800
Old payoff $550
Assumed deduction $25
New cash received $225
Hypothetical ten payments of $95 $950

The $950 total is not paid solely to obtain $225; it also repays the refinanced obligation. Calling $950 minus $225 a “fee” would misdescribe the transaction. Compare the old-loan alternative and the complete new disclosure. Do not treat this example as an APR or legal finance-charge calculation.

Compare the decision with keeping the old contract

Get the remaining schedule under the existing agreement before evaluating a replacement. Ask whether the original bill could be arranged separately without refinancing the older balance. A new loan should not be accepted merely because it offers a little additional cash.

Compare future payments, the date you would finish, the new cash and any change in security. For fees or insurance, request itemization and whether an option can be declined. The CFPB explains why charges may affect installment-loan cost; the actual provider documents still control. [F02]

Test the additional payment burden at the right date

A refinance can remove one old installment and replace it with another. Do not leave both in the future budget after the old account is actually settled, and do not remove the old payment before settlement is confirmed.

Use a written completion record to switch from the old schedule to the new one. If the first new payment arrives earlier than expected, reserve its amount before spending the extra cash. A delayed wage payment can undo an otherwise plausible monthly comparison.

Get a receipt trail for both sides of the transaction

Request confirmation that the old account was paid, how any deduction was treated and what net amount you received. Retain the new agreement and payment channel together. For a payment discrepancy, start with the contact on the contract and the dated receipts.

This directory does not settle an account, move your loan or send documents to LD Funding. If a sender unexpectedly offers guaranteed additional cash for an upfront payment, verify independently rather than acting on the message alone. [F01]

Questions before continuing

Does the dated list prove refinancing is available?

No. It supports a name/address record in a specific category. Current services require confirmation. [M02]

Is the $25 deduction an LD Funding charge?

No. It is a hypothetical ledger input used to demonstrate the difference between principal and cash received.

Why not subtract only $225 from $950 to find the fee?

Because the new contract also settles $550 of an existing obligation. That subtraction would mix principal repayment with financing cost.
