Corrections and feedback

A useful correction identifies a specific page and a source that can be checked. We separate factual errors from differences in a provider's current terms.

What to send

  1. The page URL and the exact sentence, table entry or tool result at issue.
  2. The proposed correction and a source link or document title, if available.
  3. Whether the issue is an address or hours change, a legal or product rule, a calculation, an accessibility problem, a translation or a broken link.

Do not send Social Security numbers, bank credentials, full account numbers or application documents through an ordinary correction message.

How a report is assessed

The review standard is to compare the report with the cited page and, where applicable, a primary regulator or business source. A correction may require updating a statement, replacing a link, identifying uncertainty or removing an unsupported claim. A report does not by itself establish that an external provider's current terms have changed.

For an individual loan decision, payment or account record, contact the company named in your agreement; this website's editorial correction process cannot change that provider's records.

Where to send it

Use the site's contact page and include “Website correction” with the page URL. For urgent payment, fraud or account matters, use the provider named in your agreement and the relevant official regulator; an editorial message cannot change an account record.
