Prepare a GBC Finance visit on Sawyer Street
This page helps you prepare a call or visit and read the monthly-payment commitment; it is not a GBC application or a promise of approval. Ask for the net amount, first payment date and full repayment schedule before choosing a loan.

Prepare the right request
I am applying for the first time
Ask the Sawyer Street team which income evidence it accepts in your situation. The FAQ lists a Texas ID, a bank statement and proof of income, and separately mentions six months at a job. Clarify how that employment statement applies to benefits or retirement income. [T02]
I need funds before a fixed bill date
Ask whether the offer would require a visit and whether payment to your bank would arrive in time. The FAQ describes next-business-day bank delivery as an option; it is not a same-day guarantee. [T02]
I already have a GBC account
Call for your current amount due, payoff or repayment question. Use the lender’s authorized payment route; Bottom Dollar does not collect payments or have access to GBC accounts.

Use Suite 100 at 601 Sawyer Street and the branch phone (713) 227-8209. Saturday hours are shorter than weekday hours, so confirm the time needed for a new-loan review. A published schedule does not reserve an appointment or prove current operating status. This is a third-party listing, not a Bottom Dollar office. [T01]
Monthly installments, not a generic next-payday promise
GBC’s FAQ describes installment or personal borrowing repaid monthly, with a stated term of up to 12 months. It says payments start 30 days after receipt. Treat those as published product information and ask for your exact calendar in writing. They do not establish the amount, price or acceptance criteria for a particular borrower. [T02]

Account and cash-flow evidence

Paystub, benefit/retirement evidence or other accepted record
The FAQ’s employment-duration statement should not be silently ignored or converted into a universal rule for every income type. Ask before sending personal files. Meeting a document checklist is not a credit decision. [T02]
See the monthly obligation before accepting the cash
Illustration only: suppose you receive $800 net and agree to six payments of $155. Total repayment is $930, a $130 difference from the cash received if there are no other charges. If $1,400 of income must cover $1,130 of essentials, $100 of existing commitments and a $40 buffer, only $130 remains. A $155 installment would leave a $25 gap. These figures are not GBC pricing; they show why the payment must be tested against the full household budget.
Request the actual Texas price and lender record
Texas OCCC identifies regulated consumer lending under Chapter 342 and provides a license-search route. The interest threshold mentioned on its industry page is a licensing trigger, not a promise that this loan costs 10%. A current GBC license match and your individual APR were not established here. Ask for creditor identity, APR, all charges, total of payments and any security or optional add-ons in the actual disclosure. [L06]
Use the branch team for a specific next step
A useful call is: “I need a stated net amount, receive income on these dates and want to know the documents, first due date and total repayment.” Request the current staff member responsible for your question; a manager’s name has not been verified for this listing. If you need account help, use the published business number and share account details only through its confirmed process. The comparison tool below can organize the figures but cannot approve the loan. [T01]
Questions before continuing
Does this page submit a GBC application?
No. The phone and source link lead to GBC; this directory does not transmit an application or bank information.
Can retirement or benefit income be used?
The FAQ mentions such income evidence while also listing an employment-duration condition. Ask GBC how it applies to your case; no universal acceptance is promised. [T02]
Is the $155 payment a real quote?
No. It is a hypothetical affordability example. Only GBC’s written offer can establish actual terms.
