Find the New Orleans counter and the cash amount you need

Start with the two street-level contacts below, not a city-wide promise of cash. Confirm the branch is handling your product, the amount you would actually receive and the date the full repayment is due. Both published contacts need a current hours check before a visit.

Bottom Dollar Payday is not the lender. This page helps prepare and compare decisions; it does not submit an application or access accounts or application records.

Canal Street and Saint Claude Avenue

Two published third-party contacts in New Orleans. These are not Bottom Dollar offices, verified licenses or a live list of open stores.

The map is requested from Google only after you press the button. It searches the displayed place or area; it does not verify a business profile or a license.

Which answer do you need first?

I need to visit today

Call the selected local number for opening hours and the last time a complete application can be considered. A web form remaining online does not establish counter availability. [LA20] [LA21]

I need a specific amount in hand

Ask for net proceeds separately from principal, fees and the face of the check. A check amount of $200 is not necessarily $200 available to spend. [LA02]

I have seen two different Louisiana limits

The OFI notice effective September 1, 2026 distinguishes $740 deferred-presentment principal and $370 small-loan principal. Those limits do not identify which product a branch will offer you. [LA01]

Use the street and local number together

Keep the street on your notes when calling. Two contacts under the same brand can have different service windows. The directory is a selected pair, not an exhaustive inventory or a ranking by distance. Neither contact is described here as independently verified open.

Read the new principal ceiling without turning it into an offer

Louisiana OFI’s current annual notice covers September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2027. It sets the maximum outstanding principal balance at $740 for deferred-presentment transactions and $370 for small loans. [LA01]

The word principal matters. It is not a promise that a store will lend that amount, and it should not be relabeled as the face-of-check limit. Ask the provider to identify its legal product, actual principal, amount disbursed and total repayment on one written disclosure.

Work from cash received back to the check

R.S. 9:3578.4 states a percentage fee limit using the face of the check. The following arithmetic isolates that fee; it does not include every potentially permitted charge or quote either store’s price. [LA02]

Illustrative check face 16.75% of face Cash after that fee only
$200.00 $33.50 $166.50
$300.00 $50.25 $249.75

For a $200 bill, the first example leaves $33.50 unpaid. Increasing the check is not automatically the right response: compare a partial bill arrangement and confirm the final net amount before signing. Do not subtract a fee twice when it is already reflected in net proceeds.

Test the repayment date against the next essential bills

Use the written total repayment, not the money originally received, in your budget. Illustration: $920 of income minus $610 of essential expenses, $80 of other payments and a $60 reserve leaves $170. A $200 repayment would create a $30 shortfall.

Moving that payment beyond the income date is not something this page can authorize. Ask the creditor about the contract and consider another arrangement for the original expense. A later payday does not make a current funding deadline disappear.

Separate the branch conversation from document submission

Use a first call to confirm the document list and the secure channel the business accepts. Do not send account details or identity documents to an address taken only from an advertisement. The official branch links provide a starting point for checking whom you are dealing with. [LA20] [LA21]

Ask whether a missing document prevents review and whether the lender needs additional time after you provide it. A representative’s document checklist is not an approval. Bottom Dollar’s directory does not receive or forward those documents.

Choose an action that still works when timing is uncertain

If you cannot establish the store window or a workable repayment, contact the bill issuer about an arrangement before relying on a new loan. The CFPB identifies negotiating with the creditor as one possible alternative. [HM03]

For an existing payday obligation, speak with that creditor about the balance and options. Do not treat a second store contact as a recommendation to take another loan. The related pages below help compare funding stages, budgets and repayment; they are not a real-time application tracker.

Questions before continuing

Are these two counters guaranteed to be open now?

No. The operator publishes the contacts, but the reviewed extracts did not provide a full weekly schedule. Telephone confirmation is still needed.

Does the $740 ceiling mean I will receive $740?

No. It is the OFI principal ceiling for a defined product and period, not an approved amount, a check-face limit or a branch quote.

Will the directory send my information to either store?

No. These pages supply contacts and comparisons. They do not submit an application or transmit documents.
