Independent provider directory

Check the Flint-area account requirement before the trip

A cash payout does not automatically remove a provider’s checking-account requirement. Use the two Flint-area payday contacts to confirm account and document conditions before visiting. A Downtown Flint credit-union alternative is listed separately; it is not a payday counter or a promise of instant funding.

Bottom Dollar Payday is not the lender. This page helps prepare and compare decisions; it does not submit an application or access accounts or application records.

Two area payday contacts and one downtown alternative

Miller Road is treated as an area contact; Pierson Road’s municipal inclusion is unverified. The downtown credit union is explicitly a different product route.

Choose the requirement you need to clarify

My checking account is new

Check n Go’s published materials refer to an open active checking account and a 30-day condition. Confirm how it applies to your request before submitting documents. [MI23] [MI24]

I prefer cash instead of a card

For a transaction under Michigan’s deferred-presentment framework, DIFS describes cash, check or money-order payout at the customer’s choice. That is separate from initial account qualification. [MI01]

I can explore a downtown installment alternative

ELGA publishes a Downtown Flint office and an unsecured personal-loan route, with qualification and membership conditions. It is not labeled as a payday product. [MI34] [MI36]

Find the address without overstating city boundaries

Published contact Telephone Role in this selection
3538 Miller Road, mailing ZIP 48507 (810) 733-7600 Flint-area payday contact, not counted as verified in-city [MI23]
2601 Pierson Road, Unit 383, MI 48504 (810) 787-2580 Published payday contact; municipal boundary unverified [MI24]
ELGA, 600 S Saginaw St, MI 48502 (810) 715-3542 Downtown credit-union alternative; shared service number [MI34] [MI35]

The two payday pages use a Flint postal label. That does not prove two licensed counters within the City of Flint. Use the exact address, confirm the storefront and keep nearby options separate from a verified city inventory.

Separate account qualification, payout and card use

Question What it determines What it does not prove
Does the account meet the provider’s rule? Whether its banking condition is met Credit approval
Which payout form can I request? How proceeds are delivered That no bank information is required
Do I want an optional prepaid card? Whether to enter a separate card arrangement That the card is required for every loan
Can I repay using a chosen method? The authorized repayment process That the original debt is cancelled

Check n Go publishes account and identification requirements alongside a prepaid-card service. [MI23] [MI24] Do not combine those independent topics into an unsupported “no bank account needed” claim.

Use Michigan payout rights within their actual scope

DIFS says the deferred-presentment proceeds are paid in cash, by check or by money order as requested. Loading a debit card can follow as a separate customer choice; it is not the required initial delivery. [MI01]

This scope matters. The same paragraph is not a rule for ELGA’s personal-loan disbursement or a substitute for that credit union’s membership and lending conditions. [MI36] Ask each provider to explain the agreement you are considering, not the product displayed in a neighboring advertisement.

Check the amount due rather than the cash alone

For a $200 illustration under DIFS’s marginal fee explanation, the first two service-fee bands are $15 and $14, totaling $29. If the permitted $2.40 verification fee is also charged, the total repayment is $231.40. [MI01] [MI02]

Suppose $840 of income remains subject to $460 of essentials, $100 of other payments and a $60 reserve. Only $220 is available; the example payoff leaves an $11.40 shortfall. These calculations are illustrative, not an offer or a determination of affordability for a real borrower.

Compare the published service windows by service type

The two Check n Go pages publish Monday–Friday 10 a.m.–6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.–2 p.m. and Sunday closed. [MI23] [MI24] ELGA’s Downtown Flint lobby publishes Monday–Friday 9:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. and weekend closure. [MI34]

Do not use another ELGA branch’s teller-machine schedule as Downtown Flint lobby hours. A member-service telephone number can help arrange the right conversation, but it does not prove an immediate appointment or decision at the office.

Keep sensitive information out of a general inquiry

ELGA’s contact page says ordinary email is for questions, not initiating banking transactions or sharing confidential information. [MI35] Use a first contact to confirm the legitimate application channel and documents, rather than sending passwords or account details in an unsolicited message.

Bottom Dollar does not collect those documents through this page. If the amount or deadline cannot be met, ask the original bill issuer about a payment arrangement; the CFPB describes creditor negotiation as a possible alternative. [HM03] Existing-debt assistance should start with the original creditor.

Questions before continuing

Does requesting cash remove the checking-account requirement?

No. Payout form and provider banking eligibility are separate questions. Confirm both.

Is the Downtown Flint office a payday counter?

No. It is a credit-union alternative with separate personal-loan qualification and membership conditions.

Are both payday contacts certified inside Flint city limits?

No. The directory explicitly keeps the area and boundary limitations visible; a postal name is not municipal verification.
